Laboratory Overseas Study Tour Special ft. Seoul
Our lab's overseas journey began with institutional visits to Seoul National University (SNU) and Ewha Womans University, where we explored their affiliated kindergartens, child development centers, and exchanged ideas with faculty and research teams. We then headed to Incheon for the 28th ISSBD Biennial Meeting, where our lab presented three studies in the symposium "Neuroscience and AI Tools in Dialogic Reading Research," chaired by Professor Shin-Min Wang.

June 5, 2026.Our lab PI, Shinmin Wang, was invited to give a keynote speech at the 2026 Academic Conference on Early Childhood Curriculum and Teaching, hosted by the Department of Early Childhood Education at NUTU.
Yesterday's presentation focused on the following theme:
Shared parent–child reading is more than a language activity. Through conversational interaction, it can also support sensory prediction and executive functioning, helping to foster children's brain development. Even if parents spend only five minutes a day reading with their children, those five minutes can become a valuable source of linguistic, cognitive, and emotional growth.
